Coming in 2009...
Standards development process
In conjunction with the release of our books throughout 2009, we will be introducing
a standards development process. We believe our thought leadership in the area of
Segregation of Duties and User Access Controls will help us lead industry experts in
a process of developing a best practice User Access Control and SOD conflict matrix.
This process will develop a common language for assessing risk and implementing
controls related to application security for companies running Oracle e-Business
Suite.
Standards will be introduced over several web-based meetings starting January 9,
2009 and will cover topics per the following schedule:

The standards development process will culminate in a Symposium the some time
late spring or early summer in Denver, CO. The Symposium will be three intensive
days of heads down work to finalize the process. More details on the Symposium
coming.
This standards development process will include practitioners from various
disciplines including audit (internal and external), end user companies, software
companies, and consulting firms that are interested in developing standards related
to user access controls and segregation of duties for Oracle E-Business Suite. More
details to come on the standards development process to come. Contact us, in the
meanwhile, if you have questions.
